Located at 96 Rue de Provence in the heart of Paris’s vibrant 9th arrondissement, McDonald's offers a distinctive take on classic fast food with a French flair. This American hamburger and fast food restaurant goes beyond the usual expectations with a diverse menu that caters not only to the craving for authentic comfort food but also to those seeking unique local twists. Whether you're in the mood for a juicy 三層吉事堡 (three-layer cheeseburger), a fresh and flavorful Veggie Burger, or a sweet indulgence like the Sundae Chocolate avec Nappage Fraise, this McDonald's invites you to enjoy familiar dishes elevated by careful preparation and thoughtful ingredients.
The menu highlights effortlessly blend traditional fast food staples with Parisian café culture. Start your day with the enticing Brunch option — for just €7.90, enjoy five carefully selected products including a hot beverage like rich 100% Arabica espresso or a tighter, more intense Ristretto, alongside a cold drink and three sweet or savory items of your choice. This makes it a convenient and affordable option for travelers or locals seeking a quick yet satisfying morning meal.
If you have a sweet tooth, the Macflurry and Apple Pie deliver that blissful balance of creamy and crunchy textures, while the Very Parfait Chocolat offers a decadent, layered treat to satisfy your dessert cravings. The savory sides like the perfectly crispy Frites (fries) and golden Nuggets pair beautifully with refreshing beverages such as Iced Tea or a classic Expresso and macarons combo, creating a surprisingly well-rounded dining experience.
The atmosphere inside is modern and welcoming, providing ample seating with large, comfortable dining areas ideal for groups and families. It’s a lively yet relaxed environment where you can unwind after exploring Paris’s bustling streets. However, some practical notes from visitors include the necessity to pay 50 cents for access to the toilets and the occasional challenge with self-service kiosks—especially regarding English language options and payment methods, as noted by some travelers who experienced minor technical hiccups.
Customer feedback highlights the elevated quality of food here compared to other McDonald's branches, particularly appreciating the unsalted fries, which let the natural potato flavor shine, and healthier options such as the 100% real fruit juice in the kid’s Happy Meal. Indeed, the Happy Meal itself is thoughtfully crafted with choices like pineapple, a delightful and refreshing alternative rarely found at McDonald's outside France. Another praised element is the notably non-greasy nature of the dishes, which makes dining here feel lighter and more enjoyable.
While a few travelers have pointed out some cleanliness issues in the restrooms and the slight confusion with payment systems, overall, McDonald’s Paris at Rue de Provence remains a reliable and pleasantly surprising spot for fast, flavorful meals that respect both your palate and your time. Whether you’re craving a quick burger, a refreshing salad, or an authentic café espresso paired with macarons, this location represents the perfect blend of American fast food convenience and Parisian culinary culture.
We ate at this McDonald's while on vacation. The food quality is far better here than at McDonald's establishments in the United States. The cheeseburgers are good. I love that the fries are unsalted, and the choice of pineapple in the kid's happy meal is great...it is not an option in the US. Also, the kid's juice pack is 100% real fruit juice, and not a sugary fruit juice cocktail so that's also good. Also, there is a bakery counter here with croissants and donuts, etc. which I haven't seen at McDonald's in the US. My daughter ordered a donut and loved it. Overall, the food quality and taste is better here in Paris than in the US.
Would’ve been a good visit if it weren’t for the kiosk not working properly. First off, selecting the English option still didn’t totally translate other items, but it’s readable. The other issue was for payment, it doesn’t accept AX cards, it didn’t even show that it doesn’t accept it, it just spits out something in French. Good thing there was a fellow customer who saw us having problems with it and suggested for us to use the V card, apparently that didn’t work too so he walked over to the counter with us to translate our predicament. Turns out, we had to pay at the actual counter. That’s the other thing, English isn’t their strong suit, I mean even that wouldn’t be an issue if the kiosk worked. The food’s really interesting though, drink’s aren’t refillable and didn’t even arrive filled up, chicken & fries were exactly like the ones stateside, the signature burger was huge and tasted great. Curry sauce was really good.
Not a bad place at all. The food was not greasy and it tastes nice. You can get a meal for around €10-12 Good large deating areas as well. Toilets cost 50cents to use and they where not very clean when we visited.
A nice place to stop by, inside the building and access beside “Subway” restaurant. Very easy to miss. Washroom need to pay for toilettes (to sit down) but free if just a small job (standing up).
